Key Multi-Million Dollar Driver

Challenge:

The CEO and VP of R&D were looking to add a Product Manager focused on Application Software to the team. This position was a pivotal position for the company's growth and the company was not finding he right person, while it was costing a lot of time and money with the open position. This individual had to:

•Have experience with SaaS products

•Have solid software product management skills

•Have leak detection experience or at least it was preferred

• Have GIS experience.

 

Solution:

•With our high touch, personalized approach we sat down with the CEO and VP. Together we visualized what the final candidate needed to look like.

•Helped write the job description.

•Mapped out all candidates with the skills listed above and targeted companies that worked with GIS.

•We reached out to highly regarded candidates that were not looking to leave their current company.

•We engaged candidates in conversations about the possibilities for their career and directly branded the company, who was not well known, so the candidates could visualize the role.

 

 

Result:

The company interviewed candidates and bias showed up. The finalist candidate was assessed as not the top candidate, but was interviewed after we discussed the candidates attributes that were not being considered. That candidate received several counter offers from his company and TLR Search continued to work with him on the resignation process, to make sure he understood the risk of the offers; while keeping him engaged until he joined the company. After joining he was promoted after 6 months. He is driving a multi-million dollar initiative.  We continued to help them add other solid candidates as they grew.
